Dimension in Colour

A vibrant attempt at capturing emotion and everything that a photograph cannot. This is a portrait of my dog Nellie, painted entirely from my memories and observations. Personal favourites such as Nellie's eyes, nose and floppy ears are set center stage through the contrasting luminescent blue and rich mahogany colour scheme. Creativity and technicality wise, this is an exploration into how dimension and depth can be portrayed through an array of colours.
