Reversing the Vase
A look into what
happens when the basic relationships involved in ceramics is altered. Reversing the Vase highlights the harmonious balance between motifs and space, function
and appearance. This vase pays homage to
my oriental background while also displaying the waywardness of my cultural
identity as a Chinese growing up in Canada.
