Inspired by the overlooked grandmother in "Birthday" by Lispector,
Strength in Fragility is a commentary on how mental and physical state deteriorate at different rates. Made up entirely of flimsy bristol board, this is an envisionment of what the grandmother's mentality would look like in physical terms.
Strength in Fragility is an exploration into asymmetrical balance, transforming rigidness into fluidity and basic mechanical structures.
