Travelling through Darkness

Playing with colours is trickier than it seems; this became all too clear when cutting out magazine snippets to compose this image as colours, once cut out, became a whole other colour. Initially meant to depict one my favourite summer pastimes, the unsettling mystery put forth by the broken geometric nature of the water and the voidless background has inadvertently symbolized my journey into creating this piece - wandering through pools of colours to find the right one.
